Administrative Law Judge Rules Favorably for Alan Edmunds' Client in National Security Case

(PRWEB) October 11, 2007 -- On August 23, 2007 Alan Edmunds of the Law Offices of Edmunds & Claery, LLP, was granted yet another favorable decision by the Administrative Law Judge in a National Security case proving that experience makes the difference.

Case number 07-01845 was heard in Arlington, Virginia in front of an Administrative Law Judge. This case involved a 30 year old applicant who received a Letter of Intent to Deny Security Clearance based on Guideline E (personal conduct), Guideline I (Emotional, Mental and Personality Disorders) and Guideline J (criminal conduct).

Attorney Edmunds submitted several items into evidence. Performance Evaluations, numerous personal recommendations, and proof of satisfied debt were all reviewed by the Administrative Judge and Department Counsel.

Mr. Edmunds requested that the Administrative Judge consider the "whole person" concept in evaluating the Applicant. Although the Government cited that it was not in the best interest of the country to allow Applicant access to classified information, Attorney Edmunds was able to successfully mitigate all of the concerns raised in the Letter of Intent to Deny Security Clearance. Upon evaluation the Judge found that is was clearly consistent with the national interest to grant or continue Applicant's security clearance.

Attorney Edmunds travels from coast to coast on a weekly basis defending individuals such as the case referenced above. From Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles, California, Attorney Edmunds has represented individuals and defended their rights for over 30 years. For more information please contact Alan V. Edmunds at www.alanedmunds.com or by phone at (800)481-2526.
