Wave Software Announces Trident 5.0 - Legal Industry's First Native Review Bridge Technology
Orlando, Fla. (PRWEB) July 1, 2008 -- Orlando-based Wave Software, an innovator in the de-duplication, regeneration and export of native electronic data, announced today the launch of Trident 5.0. The release adds a host of new features and enhancements to Trident, including Native Review Bridge. Trident Pro 5.0 is the first software in the legal industry that offers Native Review Bridge, which automatically maps and loads processed e-discovery data into common search and review platforms such as Concordance, Summation, Relativity, ZyLAB and Catalyst. Trident Pro 5.0 is designed to help law firms, corporate legal departments and legal service providers increase productivity, reduce costs and produce relevant results for litigation, electronic discovery and regulatory response.
Direct load files (resource DLL files) typically must be created by e-discovery service providers in order to load data into common review platforms such as LexisNexis Concordance and CT Summation. This adds time, complexity and cost to the e-discovery process. Trident Pro 5.0's Native Review Bridge avoids the load-file cost and complexity and supports direct data loads into most review platforms on the market today. It instantly captures file data and metadata and populates relative fields in the review platform or database.
Native Review Bridge does not require users to digitize (TIFF) or print the documents, as everything is done electronically and in native format. This allows for better control of data, processes, costs and workflow. With Native Review Bridge technology, the need for load-ready file creation is eliminated, thus shortening the time it takes for litigation teams to get data loaded onto a platform to review and mark documents as privilege or responsive.
Other features and upgrades with version 5.0 include: * "One Click" native load into LexisNexis Concordance 2007 * True native file processing and native file export functionality out of Concordance * Process and load PST, NSF, ZIP and loose e-files * No need for additional tools or staff to create load files * Utilizing Trident and Concordance, there is now true in-house native processing and review for all discoverable ESI * Works in conjunction with other preferable products such as LexisNexis LAW, Discovery Cracker and many other existing e-discovery platforms * Foreign language load creation for Unicode-compliant review platforms such as CatalystCR
"For many of our current clients, Trident is the single, most important software they use," said Robert Childress, President of Wave Software. "Loading files into a review system quickly and accurately is critical. We are excited to launch our new version of Trident because our clients can upgrade their e-discovery systems knowing that their processing costs and turnaround time will decrease."
With its sophisticated "autoload" feature, Trident 5.0 can take Microsoft® Exchange-Outlook (PSTs) and Lotus Notes (NSFs) e-mails or other loose data files and consistently format and load them in their full-text native format into review platforms.
It is rare to find software that automatically loads foreign language documents into review platforms, and Trident's Native Review Bridge can do this into CatalystCR. Trident 5.0 and CatalystCR systems are both fully Unicode compliant, allowing them to support foreign language processing. As litigation tends to become global, software that can manage foreign language documents becomes a much more valuable tool for law firms and corporate legal departments. Trident 5.0 is far less expensive than other culling technologies, and offers greater flexibility, depth and speed.
As a result of growing demand for electronic discovery software and services, Orlando-based Wave Software reported first quarter record growth for 2008. Comparing first quarter 2007 to first quarter 2008, Wave Software, a three-year-old e-discovery software company, reported growth in excess of 200 percent. The company's success was driven by a dramatic increase in the number of large legal service companies and consulting firms that adopted the company's Trident suite of applications.

Why I Believe Abortion Should Be Legal, Safe, and Rare I have always been a supporter of a woman's right to choose. It is not simply that I am a supporter of abortion. I have never had an abortion and don't think I could. However, I should have the right to make that decision myself -- not have it forced on me. My position on abortion is really very simple -- it should be legal, safe and rare.
